FOR NORMAL/DANDRUFF CARE Made with beer instead of water – the vitamin B in the beer gives your hair a gorgeous body and shine. Tea Tree essential oil and it’s wonderful properties help fight dandruff and relieve the itching. Peppermint is stimulating to the scalp and the white Kaolin clay draws out and absorbs oils and dirt. All of our shampoo bars contain grapeseed oil which promotes healthy hair growth by protecting the body and hair from cell damaging free radicals. Jojoba Oil helps to reduce hair loss and promote a healthy shine by strengthening the hair follicle and shaft.
Each of our shampoo bars have specially selected
ingredients that are to benefit different hair and scalp types. The
descriptions will inform you of which one is best for you. If you have never used a shampoo bar before please read the SHAMPOO BAR INFORMATION as it is a little bit different from using bottle shampoo and conditioners.
Cold
Process is our chosen method to make soap. It is soap made the
traditional way from across the centuries using modern research as to
the benefits of each of the ingredients selected. Each batch takes
approximately 3.5 hours to make from start to finish before it is “put
to bed” for 24 hours. Our soap uses vegetable oils & butters that
are combined with lye and other ingredients such as water, beer or plant
based milks such as coconut & almond, making our soaps vegan. Each
of our soaps have cured for 4-6 weeks before we allow it to leave,
making for a great bar of soap. Have more questions about handmade
soap? Or want to learn more about the chemical process involved? Read
more here. (my chemistry teachers would be proud!)
The
only place that changes this soap from natural to nearly natural is the
use of fragrance oils vs essential oils. Essential oils are completely
natural - fragrance oils are synthetic. Customer demand dictates the use
of fragrance oils so I make soap with
Essential oils, Fragrance oils and Unscented to suit everyone! This soap
is scented with a fragrance oil.
Each bar is handcut and weighs between 4.75 - 5.0 ozs
